After Saturday's 8-1 defeat at the hands of Eccleshall, Lee Bennett and Dan Davis left NWCFL First Division South side Alsager Town after just over six months in charge - and the Cheshire based side have this afternoon announced that Stewart Tulloch will take over as permanent First Team Manager.
He will be assisted by Elliot Ledwards as they look to move up the table as they currently lie 18th in the standings following last night's 3-0 defeat to Abbey Hey.
Chairman Terry Greer took charge for the game last night and said of the appointment, “I heard from a third party that Stuart and Elliot were interested in the job, so contact was made, we had a good meeting and they came along to the game on Tuesday night. They are both former Alsager Town players and are already looking to bring players in to help get some wins on the board.”
There first game in charge will be on Saturday when they face an away trip to Cheadle Town (3:00 pm kick-off).
