The Macron Player of the Month Awards have been confirmed by League Awards Co-Ordinator, Peter Stokes and we are delighted to announce the winners for November 2019.

Macron Club of the Month was announced on Wednesday morning and here is a reminder:

PREMIER DIVISION - 1874 NORTHWICH

DIVISION ONE NORTH - AFC LIVERPOOL

DIVISION ONE SOUTH - VAUXHALL MOTORS

Macron Player of the Month for NWCFL Premier Division

Squires Gate's Dean Ing.

Position: midfield/forward

Games Played: 5

Man of the Match: 4

Goals: 3

Assists: 0

Reason for Nomination: "Dean has been in brilliant form this month since our manager Luke Evans has played him further forward supporting the main striker as opposed to a central midfield role. He scored a late equaliser away at Whitchurch Alport and a further 2 goals in the win away at Northwich Victoria were his power, quality and work rate was too much for Vic's defence. His performances have been outstanding and he is developing into a top-class player.

"He is also maturing into a leader in the dressing room and is the player his colleagues look to for inspiration. We have has some really good performances this month and one of the main reason is the massive contribution dean has made."

Macron Player of the Month for NWCFL First Division North

Shelley's Matthew Waller

Position: Winger

Games Played: 4

Man of the Match: 1

Goals: 3

Assists: 0

Reason for Nomination: "Matthew Waller is back at Shelley – and making his mark. The winger who has plenty of pace and all kinds of trickery in his feet, proved a popular addition to the squad as the club moved into the North West Counties League last season.

"Towards the end of the campaign, a move to Cheshire through work led to him looking for a club in that area. But the man known as Matty to his teammates couldn't find what he was looking for and returned to the Stafflex Arena in time to feature from the bench in the big local derby at league new boys Golcar United in October. After another appearance as a substitute in the 1-1 draw at Chadderton, Waller, originally from Halifax, was handed a start in the first match of four in November, the Sheffield Senior Cup third-round meeting with Worsborough Bridge Athletic. He posed real problems for the Barnsley side, scoring both Shelley goals, one of them from the penalty spot, in a 3-2 defeat. Waller had another great game as Shelley pulled out all the stops to score a fine 3-2 win at Premier Division Whitchurch Alport in the second round of the Macron Cup, scoring his side's first goal and again catching the eye.

"While hopes of the inconsistent team transferring that form to the First Division North schedule have so far proved fruitless, Waller was named Shelley man-of-the-match by St Helens Town after their 2-0 victory, and was one of the better performers in the disappointing 3-1 loss at AFC Blackpool".

Macron Player of the Month for NWCFL First Division South

New Mills' Darren McKnight

Position: Centre Midfield

Games Played: 9

Man of the Match: 2

Goals: 0

Assists: 3

Reason for Nomination: "Darren McKnight has been outstanding this month he has played every fixture and when a team is now winning its a credit to the lad that he puts in 100 percent and never fails to perform. He encourages the younger lads and motivates from the start of the game to the end. His experience when teams need to dig in and grind out results is a credit to the lad. Whilst we understand with the result he is unlikely to win the award understandably his efforts both on and off the pitch has been outstanding."
