NWCFL Stats UPDATE #8

Not quite a full programme this week but still a few milestones to report back.
Litherland REMYCA played their 200th league game when they travelled to Barnoldswick on Saturday. Cheadle Town notched their 450th league win as they beat Abbey Hulton 4-1, giving them a win percentage of 34.99%.
Squires Gate’s 2-3 defeat at Avro was their 500th, a defeat percentage of 45%.
Thirteen teams have now played over 1,000 league games, led by St Helens with 1,489. The others are:
Bacup Borough: 1,414
Chadderton 1,370
AFC Blackpool: 1,356
Atherton LR: 1,325
Daisy Hill: 1,304
Maine Road: 1,300
Bootle: 1,289
Cheadle Town: 1,286
Ashton Town: 1,234
Nelson: 1,181
Squires Gate: 1,105
Holker Old Boys: 1,040
Hat-Trick Hero – just one in the league games this week, Patrick Davin of Cheadle Town, who scored the first three in their 4-1 win against Abbey Hulton.
Players used so far – league and cup.
Burscough lead the Prem having used a total of 37 players, whilst Iram have had just 21 different faces on the pitch – the fewest in all three divisions.
In the First Division South, New Mills have made use of 40 players so far, whilst Barnton, West Didsbury and Chorlton, FC Oswestry and St Martins have used 23 each.
Atherton LR and Steeton top the Division One North figures, having used 33 players. Lower Breck have seen just 22 different players in their shirts.
