Quite a few league landmarks reached in the last seven days, writes Kevin Lawton.

AFC Blackpool’s 2-0 win at home to AFC Liverpool was their 1350th league game whilst Abbey Hey played their 850th game in the home defeat to West Didsbury and Chorlton.

Eccleshall’s defeat at Wythenshawe Town was their 300th in 578 games.

Ben Davison’s goal for Maine Rd in their 4-1 defeat at Cammell Laird 1907 was the clubs 2200th league goal and 1874’s fifth goal at Charnock Richard was the home clubs 200th conceded league goal.

A couple I missed from early in the month, Barnton’s defeat at Vauxhall on 6th August was their 50th away loss and Sam Turnbull’s goal for Burscough in the opening day defeat at home to Winsford was the clubs 700th home goal.

Now one for longevity.

James Crorken of Barnoldswick Town played his 450th NWCFL game in the clubs 2-1 defeat at Charnock Richard on 6th August. He started his career at Colne in 2007, playing 235 games and scoring 36 goals, then moved to Barnoldswick in 2014 where he has played a further 217 games, scoring 15 (including one this weekend).  Total appearances 452, goals 51. Congratulations James.
