New manager appointed at Padiham

Padiham have announced the appointment of Adam Morning as First Team Manager with immediate effect.
The appointment comes after the departure of the joint-management team of Liam Smith and Dixon Lambert a couple of weeks ago.
A club statement said:
"Although his first managerial role, ex-Padiham player Adam brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and enthusiasm to the role.
"Joining Adam as Assistant Manager is ex-Padiham Captain, Michael Morrison. Like Adam, local lad Michael also brings a similar wealth of experience to the club.
"The pair are keen to get started, and will be in charge for this Saturday's home game v 1874 Northwich.
"The Club would also like to thank Michael Worthington, who stepped in as Caretaker Manager, and has returned to his role as u-23s Manager".
