Cammell Laird 1907 have announced a partnership between the football club and Wirral Metropolitan College.
The partnership will see a number of students joining the staff of the club from next season, covering the media elements of the club as well as some other key positions.
The intention is that the opportunities will give the students valuable work experience, which will help them towards gaining full time employment.
Speaking on behalf of the College, Lisa Rice said: “We are grateful to Cammell Laird 1907 FC to be giving great work experience opportunities to some of our students, and letting them experience a real working environment inside of a successful football club”.
Cammell Laird 1907 Commercial Manager, Dave Taylor said: “I am delighted that this link has been created.
"Wirral Met has continually grown across the whole of the Wirral over the past 15 years and I look forward to continuing to work with Lisa and her team in the future. The potential plans are massive and we can see this opportunity for both club and college growing and growing”.
