Chadderton - the club has received a grant of £20,000 towards development of the waste land past the main pitch, to turn it into a training area for all the teams based at the club.

The money will also be used to fund a new security fence around the perimeter of the ground, to secure the premises against the various unwanted visitors who have caused problems in recent months.

West Didsbury & Chorlton - West are once again holding their annual Community Bonfire Night, with this year's event taking place on Friday 7th November. However, between now and then the organisers are appealing to locals to help with donations of unwanted wood for the bonfire, with the ground being open this coming Saturday between 12 and 1.30 pm to receive any "unburnt offerings".

Alsager Town - the Bullets supported the Douglas Macmillan Hospice "Bring A Pound Day" during the home game against Nelson on 11th October, and as well as raising £103 from the collection around the ground, the collection box behind the bar was also filled.

Glossop North End - regular purchasers of pies at Surrey Street will now be rewarded for their loyalty through a reward scheme that has now been set up.

Starting with the game at home to West Didsbury & Chorlton last week, anyone buying a pie will be issued with a reward card which will be stamped on each purchase, and once the hungry owner has munched his or her way through 10 pies, the 11th one will be issued free of charge on production of the stamped card.

1874 Northwich - When Maine Road's Gavin Salmon opened the scoring against 1874 in the 24th minute of last Saturday's game, it was the first goal 1874 Northwich had conceded in 619 minutes of play, since Scott Barlow scored for Congleton Town in the 35th minute of the Premier Division game played at Booth Street on Tuesday 16th September 2014.

The sequence of results was also the third time Matt Conkie has not let a goal in for five consecutive 1874 games, The first time was between 13th November 2013 and 30th November 2013 when Northwich Flixton Villa (Cheshire Senior Cup), Oldham Boro, Widnes Vikings (First Division Cup), Cheadle Town and Chadderton were kept scoreless.

The goal times in the games either side of this run at Rochdale Town and Nelson meant Matt and his colleagues kept the opposition out for 460 minutes.

The second run of five clean sheets started at the end of last season and continued into the current campaign. Starting on 16th April 2014, Leek CSOB, Formby, Widnes Vikings and Holker Old Boys failed to trouble the scorers as did AFC Blackpool in the opening game of the 2014/15 season on 2nd August 2014.

The goal times in the games either side of this run at home to Maine Road (League Cup) and Barnoldswick Town meant 1874 did not concede a goal for 505 minutes.
